I am doing a study on reduced longevity due to inbreeding in the Rhodesian Ridgeback. I am looking for pedigrees of dogs with a known lifespan
(these dogs may still be alive as long as there date of birth is known). If you have data that may be of use, I would be extremely interested. Most
useful would be an entire database avaible in ascii format. Thanks for your help!

Thank you for your reply. The following format for each dog in the
pedigree
would be great:

Pre-Title,Name,Name of Sire,Name of Dam,Date of Birth,Date of
Death,Cause of
Death,Sex

The basic minimum would be:

Name, Name of Sire, Name of Dam, Date of Birth, Date of Death

If the dog is still living the Date of Death and Cause of Death should
be
left blank (but still leave the comma's)

Pre-Title,Name,Name of Sire,Name of Dam,Date of Birth,,,Sex

The ordere does not have to be specific as long as there is constancy
and
each dog in the pedigree starts on a new line. If the parents are
unknown
the dog should be included but the names of sire and dam left out:

Pre-Title,Name,,,Date of Birth,Date of Death,Cause of Death,Sex

Any additional info can be added for each dog if seperated by a comma.

Pre-Title,Name,Name of Sire,Name of Dam,Date of Birth,Date of
Death,Cause of
Death,Sex,Additional Info
